Chateau Pontoise Cabarrus

Gravelly rises are situated along the estuary of the Gironde-Bordeaux, the same terroir as the classified growths of Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe. The vineyard stretches out over the prolongation of the prestigious communal appellations, on gravel along the Gironde, and on limestone to the west.

Since 1981, the grapes have been harvested by machine, and then sorted manually on a conveyor belt.

Chateau Jean Faure

This estate exists since the XVIII century. Its situation right next to the Château de Cheval Blanc (well-known St Emilion grand cru classé A) and Château Figeac also a Grand Cru Classé lets us expect great wines and that’s exactly what Olivier Decelle work for, since he acquire the domain in 2004. He manage to renovate as well the vineyards and the chai, in order to get back the appellation of Grand cru classé for his wines. He succeed in 2012.

In  2014 he starts to convert the 18ha of vines into organics methods  and starts to use the biodynamic principles.
